Who we are
Palmerston North Papua New Guinea Community Trust
We are a not-for-profit organisation that aims to support the thriving Papua New Guinea Community in Manawatu. The Trust has the following purposes
- to be a hub for Papua New Guinea people in Palmerston North
- to maintain, advance and celebrate Papua New Guinea’s diverse cultural and spiritual values
- to foster a relationship with mana whenua and show goodwill with all other ethnic groups
- to do all things necessary for the advancement of Papua New Guineans, education, health, economic development and well-being
- to promote and advocate for all Papua New Guinea community development and participation and contribution to the broader society, and
- undertake anything else to further the charitable aims to serve our Palmerston North Community
